MAHATET Syllabus 2013 MAHATET Exam Pattern - Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test Paper 1, Paper 2 Syllabus Details.
MAHATET Syllabus has been published now by official website as per the latest notification. MAHATET Will be held on 15th December 2013 as per the detailed advertisement declared by Maharashtra Education Board on 20th October 2013. Like every state level TET exam, there will be two papers in  Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test. People and graduate candidates of Maharashtra state were waiting since a long time for this exam. It was looking that Education Board and Maharashtra Govt. won't conduct the TET exam. But after the orders from High Court now TET will be conducted in this year too. That's Why we have added the latest official MAHATET Paper 1 Syllabus and MAHATET Paper 2 Syllabus.

Educational Qualifications :-

For Classes I - V :- Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary Education along with 2 years DTED program. Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary education with 45% marks as per NCERT norms along with completion of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary education with at least 50% marks along with completion of 4 years course in Bachelor of Elementary Education. Candidates should have completed any equivalent education.

For Classes VI - VIII :- Candidates should have secured a University Degree along with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates should have completed Degree education with 45% marks along with completion of 1 year Bachelor of Education. Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary education with at least 50% marks along with completion of 4 years course in Bachelor of Elementary Education. Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary Education with at least 50% marks along with completion of 4 years course in B.A/B.Sc.Ed Or, B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. Candidates should have completed any equivalent education.

MAHATET Exam Pattern 2013 :-

The structure and content of the TET is given in the following paragraphs. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. The There will be two papers of the TET. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Structure and Content (All Compulsory): Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test 2013

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks
A person who intends to be a teacher either for classes I to V or for classes VI to VIII will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

MH TET 2013 Paper II (for classes VI to VIII): Duration of examination – one-and-a-half hours Structure and Content: Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test 2013

i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks

  •  For Social Studies OR Social Science

MAHATET 2013 Syllabus :-

As you know there will be Two papers in Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test. As the syllabus is wide and you can't cover everything. So that Maharashtra Education Board have launched the official Syllabus for MAHATET 2013. So that a candidate can study well with limited syllabus.

There is recruitment of about Thousand Govt. Teacher. For the vacancies of Primary and upper primary teachers, only those candidates are eligible who have a valid MAHATET Score Card. That's why education board is giving one more opportunity to candidates so that they will be eligible for this recruitment.
